After much goading from my ever so single and available best buddy Chan. I have decided to venture out towards a new hobby and its podcasting for Pundok Kauswagan. We’re speaking in our vernacular (Bisaya) but hopefully in the coming months we’ll be reaching out towards a bigger audience. This podcast series is called Nya Unsa Pa Jud?

Now i’ve never been much of a talker and I just thought that this might be another opportunity to get out of my shell and actually talk to other people without being too awkward about it and as you can pretty much see I’m still learning the ropes. So please be kind to me haha and a couple of tips would be nice as well.

EPISODE 2

I started to become a co-host on episode 2. We interviewed lady bosses Mirza Barcenilla and Shak Mancao of Harakiri Mosh. An independent music production group that gave way to young bands and united subcultures. We learned how Harakiri Mosh revived Cebu’s Music Scene and made a community for the like-minded folks. These women were definitely made to inspire.

EPISODE 3

Episode 3 features the creators of DYBudget! An infamous four man group who made the parody song Bayot Di-ay! and their old school podcast Dear Kuya Biga. DYBudget wasn’t made for conservative ears so don’t be surprised with the crude humour most of us grew up listening to AM radio. Their story is worth a listen along with never before heard songs.

EPISODE 5

Episode 5 featured the ever so talented Chai Fonacier and her humble beginnings. She’s quite the comedienne and an awesome person to talk to. We can’t wait to watch her upcoming movie with Eva Green titled Nocebo.

I’m actually thinking of doing this as a regular stint in the future but in English so that we can share little tidbits for the world to hear.
