Our Climbing Experience

Best be prepared for this hike! Slather on that sunblock, wear a hat and wear decent footwear! because unfortunately for me, my sandals gave up altogether and I had to leave it behind a nearby home. Good thing they let me borrow their slippers before we arrived at the falls. Below is a slideshow of our route to Bugtong-Bato Falls!

We were lucky to have seen the falls in their current state. It is best to visit Bugtong-Bato a day after it has rained or mayhap before the dry season. During our trek, we got to pass by a river, shallow streams, an age-old yet still used rice paddies with a breathtaking view.

Bugtong-Bato Falls forst Tier

The waters were so inviting after our hike that we decided to take a dip and cool ourselves before we proceeded to the next tier. Now the climb to the second tier was slightly tricky since the wooden stairs were quite steep and slippery. It was slightly difficult for me regaining my balance while holding my camera with the other, I didn’t get much footage that time.

Taking A dip

Take note that some areas around the waterfalls are slippery from the mist and moss. Better watch your step while you’re here.

The second tier wasn’t too deep that you could try experiencing getting a massage from a waterfall.

tier two and three of bugtong-bato

We only managed to climb up to the second tier since it already started to get dark and we had the Water Tubing experience next before the Kawa Bath! You can also get a glimpse of the third tier while you’re there.
